Hi, I’m Jonas!
I am a research software engineer (RSE), image analyst and computational biologist.
My academic background combines Software & Information Engineering (TU Wien) with Computational Biology & Bioinformatics (ETH Zurich & University of Zurich) and Spatial Proteomics (Bodenmiller Lab at ETH/UZH). I also have vocational training in project management & business administration and am comfortable navigating the technical complexities of modern full-stack research solutions in life sciences.
Currently, I work as a BioImage Analyst / RSE at the SciLifeLab BioImage Informatics Unit. Previously, I served as a certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) for the SciLifeLab Data Centre, as a Computational Systems Biology Intern at IBM Research Zurich, and as a Software Developer (industry/B2B) at IT-eXperience GmbH.
I also offer my services internationally as a freelancer. With my interdisciplinary background, I’m able to support researchers from both academia and industry with a variety of projects. If you’re curious about my work or have a potential project in mind, let’s chat!
